This is very anime style, because I adapted (using same pose and clothes references) anime characts from 'Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu'.
I'm not an anime watcher myself but I'm aware of the style and I found these characters amusing to draw. It's the first time I remember adapting anime characters to furry style, like this =3
