I liked the Scott Pilgrim movie although I haven't read the comics yet. I think it's a shame how poorly it's doing at the box office, considering boxofficemojo users are giving it a relatively high grade. I know it's not in the same class as the Iron Giant but the situation reminds me of it. You know, people tending to not bother seeing it but most people seeing it tend to like it.
It is ironic. I recommended Scott Pilgrim to someone and he said not enough people in his group wanted to see it so they saw The Expendables. I recommended Scott Pilgrim to someone else. She said Michael Cera annoyed her, although I feel fairly confident she'd enjoy the movie. And she wound up seeing the Expendables with someone who wanted to see that movie instead. I hope if nothing else, S.P. will make a big comeback on DVD and blu-ray when people get around to watching it.
