balto is such a weird franchise in that it had all the potential to peddle mediocre goodies and tie-ins but it just never tried. i always feel like the ppl involved in its creation, esp after the first film, just didnt care enuff. might be an unfair assumption, but hey, what else can you think about an IP that hasn't been active in like 20 years?
