It was close to eight months on now, the rabbit having learned alot about the new body. All the quirks and limitations, with some disturbing poses they could achieve now. It always brought a laugh when someone saw him backwards or positioned oddly, oddly uncanny to see a mobile form twisted or bent unnaturally. Just as his torso did, pivoting oddly as he bent over to retrieve a book from the bottom of his back pack, something that he found made carrying stuff around alot more silent. There were less hollow clunks now that he'd stopped filling his pockets with items, it also saved on phone screen repair.

But now, it was time to lay back and chill as the sun edged closer to the horizon on this lazy day. He cracked open the book and passed by the other short stories to re-read one of his favorites, about a doe who got stuck as a mannequin who had to slowly learn how to live in a plastic body. One of the more lovely stories that was a major inspiration for his love of mannequin transformations. And just like the doe, he was 'stuck' as well. At least he liked to pretend it was that way, it counted as permanent if you never take it off, right? He had absolutely no plan to ever remove it anyway, plus no one else could remove it, so technically it was permanent.

He paused from reading to look at the sunset, forgetting how long this 'short' story was.
