<3 why thank you! I didn't really think about using lions, actually. I wanted her betrothal to the prince of France to be something that's deemed a bit "ehhhh" to humans, so I picked a possum, haha. And since my character's a goat... well, I had to stick with some kind of hooved critter there ;)

But I quite agree--you see lions all the time representing royalty, when there are just as many other great species to use!
