Valentine, as a Mochtroid, was originally going to be green and less humanoid than the other Metroid characters, Pride and Priss, but when I was first drawing her my mind kept screaming 'she's look better in PINK!'

Personality wise she's never changed. She's brutally honest at all times, and yet curious about everything like a kitten, being about as friendly. She's easier to kill than Pride and Priss, being vulnerable to more conventional weaponry such as armour piercing rounds (though they'd need to be able to go right through a tank, too) and high-grade energy weaponry. This weakness comes from her being a Mochtroid, which is weaker physically and structurally than a normal Metroid.
