Once the two boyfriends shrunk down to normal, future Spyro chose Mudada and Cleetus.
What happened when they reached the usual titanically-bigger-than-the-planet-and-impossibly-overmuscled size wasn't as surprising, but still surprising:
Mudada glomped Cleetus.
It wasn't as surprising because Mudada was kown to be a hugger.
But it still was surprising because he was more reluctant to hug the Beast Makers, and he never hugged Cleetus.
The Dream Weaver later explained this was because he was loath to dirty himself, and the Beast Makers, with their swamp, weren't the cleanest of dragons, and Cleetus especially was always covered with a bit of mud.
But here, at such a size, the mud was almost inexistent, so Mudada had no reason to not hug Cleetus.
So he did.
The Beast Maker happily returned the hug, provoking some "aaaaw" from the normal-sized dragons.
But both dragons didn't forget to enjoy their growth.
