Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) 2010 entry "My Cat"
(Unfortunatly, there was a mis-communication.. this was supposed to be called "The Bee" or something of that nature.)
This was my entry into VASE 2010 last year. 9th grade. 2nd Division.
In the regional competition, this got a perfect score (60)
And it got to State VASE! (I was the first one ever from my school to make it to State!)
VASE is an art competition that takes place in Highschools (and junior for middle schools) in Texas.
Background story time!
This was a photograph we took of Boo, one of our cats. The stuff on her nose is pollen. (it's supposed to be yellow)
So one day we found this yellow stuff on her, and we thought she had gotten into poison or something, so we were freaking out. Truth is, she had gotten into mom's flowers ontop of the TV.
So from that day on, we teased that she had bees in her head. (mainly because of her erratic behaviour).
:D So there you have it, the reason I wanted it named differently.. (also because like noone knew what that thing was in her eye.) It's a BEE!!
Art belongs to me.
First person to name the character on the shirt gets a free cookie. :3
