Do you shade all on one layer or multiple layers?

oooo ok! I like the depth you get! do you always shade with gray or do you use other colors?

This is actually blue! Looks grey cause the canvas is a warm color

But I change it all the time :3 the actual shading color changes to match the image, warm or cool, or a mix. When I do it like this it's just whatever colors feels nice, then I change it when done. Atm the blue grey is nice! Sometimes I shade with purples or pinks since it's nice on the eyes.

Sometimes I do straight up grey too.

Right now I love sketching in black! But usually do a lighter red/maroon. Or brown.

Inking I've been doing a black, but starting to use blue. Otherwise deep reds or browns are nice

Then the canvas is an off white so it's easier on the eyes :3 sometimes grey, sometimes a warm tone

Do you use different shading brushes on one piece of art?

Usually a couple! A soft airbrush and a soft general brush, so it's less soft then the airbrush.

Sometimes add a harder one in there, and usually a harder one for highlights

Though I often change how I do things. Like using hard brushes and blurring it or airbrush erasing.

How often do you blur the edges versus leaving it to the brush's opacity?

I very rarely blur the edges unless that's the style of shading I'm doing. I sometimes shade with a hard brush and blur where I want it soft, right now I mostly just use soft brushes as is.

What size brush do you use for your outer and inner inking?
I was also curious on your canvas size and px size as I've tried using your brushes before!

These brushes are just the standered g pen with density lowered and a bit softer of an edge

I think 17 and 20?? I don't use a specific size as it changes per image. My canvas size is usually 3200x4000 to start with.
