The third eye allows them to see fairies that are flying around. Other creatures cannot see fairies, so for many peoples, Fairy Kings are creatures with incredible tooth regeneration. Despite the big name, the Fairy Kings are just the kind of creatures that need their tentacles and teeth to defend their territory and survive in this world.
