The Osicir was a primitive race of serpentine dragons that started to thrive when the chunks of land they lived upon got rocketed into the air and suspended far above the clouds. They had no means to return to the mainland at the time and were forced to live upon floating islands. Years passed and during that time many chunks of land slowly started clumping together forming an even bigger island. Upon the smaller chunks of land before the great combine happened there was much-scattered history and knowledge from the lands below, which started to greatly influence the primitive tribe as they grew and evolved becoming more intelligent. There were many texts about dances somewhat Persian culture and what started as just history from the land below turned into their life and culture albeit somewhat altered.

The Osicir are an all-female race that reproduces via laying an egg and performing a ritualistic dance to charge the egg with magic and life. There used to be males but they died out when the Osicir was first launched into the sky forcing them to evolve or go extinct, the dance part of the ritual came much after they found history from below even though it is not needed the ritual of infusing the eggs with life is. As money was never available the Osicir would purchase goods via trading that took place near the center of town. They invented many gadgets and devices using a unique crystal that stored arcane energy, this crystal was something that was found in abundance upon the floating rock of their home, the crystals were also what was causing their island to stay afloat. One device that was made helped them remain hidden above the clouds so they could continue to prosper in peace. Although as much as they wished to remain hidden from the world that forgot them, some wished to return to the land they once lived on. They did not expect to be the only island, as there were many tribes scattered around the world.



During the calamity when the primordials devastated the world the Osicir being above the land when they rose from their slumber were hit hard. When the connection to the stream was severed their islands fell from the sky, not enough power able to keep them aloft if their homes were not already destroyed from flying primordials. There were not many that survived the crash to the planet below, their numbers lessened and with a weak connection to the stream, they could no longer perform the rituals of life. So they did what they could to have those still living survive until maybe they could one day bring their race back from the brink of extinction.

Imperium Osicir:
Upon falling down to the world and the devastation involved, there are some Osicir that made their way to parts of the land that the Imperium had control over. They were let in hesitantly but they showed that they could be of use to them by giving them the crystals that their Islands had an abundance of. They were made to integrate to their standards, only able to keep bits of their culture. The Imperium eventually found a way to let them reproduce via their magical rituals again, but it was greatly limited to them and restricted so they were not allowed or taught how to do it themselves. Because of this their numbers were monitored, but at least they could continue living on.
