I've mentioned before my affinity for the halberd. Polearms aren't my favourite choice of weapon - their limited range of motion really clashes with what I want to be doing in combat - but if I need one, I'll choose the good old spear-axe. Good for keeping enemies at bay and hacking them to pieces if they get too close anyway. It's a good choice if I can bottleneck them in a deep dark dungeon, at least.
