Little bust of Krystal to practice drawing furries (furry heads, more specifically). They still give me trouble tbh.

Nicely done! Often when artists have trouble with furry characters it's because creating a good sense of depth can be hard especially for faces. But here you did a good job using the curves and muzzle line to create depth. Also great work giving her big, expressive eyes. Including details like the shine effects and light is nice because they make characters feel more alive. Finally, nice job with the fur effects. Using fur tufts and fur detail is strategic places like her ears, cheeks and shoulders works well for making anthro characters look furry without looking too busy or over-complicated. Overall, nice job!
Coincidentally, you picked the perfect time to draw her! Every August there's an event called Krystal Appreciation Month (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43170427/) where various artists draw Krystal.
Thanks for sharing your artwork with everyone! Hope we get to see more of Krystal from you!

Glad you like it! I mainly draw humans, so this is rather new for me. I'm mainly just trying to figure out how to balance human and animal features, as there is a bit of a sliding scale. I'm hoping to be able to draw anthros in such a way that I can place them side by side with my humans without them looking out of place.
And I guess I'll have to mark that event on my calendar for next time~
