A while ago,  vivisectionbob made this quadruped Rooth for me as part of a commission batch, which was awesome. But then I saw what he did for Rooth'roo after an idea I offered, and I was like, "OMG, I have an idea for Rooth'ragon!". So I described it, and this is what he came up with. And I it. :)

I'm having a big party and a cruise and whatnot for my 40th birthday, and I plan to get at tattoo before the event. It'll be my first, and it's meant to mark not just the big year, but the forty years previous, which is mostly filled with dragon worship at some level. So the ink will depict a dragon, in a sort of calligraphy style, something akin to this, but not exactly that one. Anyhow, this naturally lead me to the idea that I might be getting my tattoo from some journeyman artist, like Jeordie. This scene fell out of my head, and onto vivisectionbob's paper.
