Everyone has those days. You know the kind, where you feel yourself getting all mixed up inside and out, and you need some kind of outlet or somewhere to get away to. Even Lehran, as cheerful and calm as he tries to be, needs to slip away from everything for just a few brief moments of quiet and solitude to collect himself. Lucky for him, he always has just the perfect place in mind for it.
Settling himself at the base of a cherry blossom tree at a hidden spring, he commits to his own tried and true methods for unwinding. With legs crossed together and posture taken, he closes his eyes and turns his thoughts inward, focusing purely on himself. Generally, he's almost always seen with just one tail, a string of decorative beads looped around towards the tip. Though, on request, or if he gets ahead of himself and gets too excited, people learn he can actually sport much more than that, given his mixed heritage. During these periods of mental reflection, he taps into his own latent magic and eases himself, letting his tail more naturally fan outwards into a full set of nine, the beads separated to each one and suspended by his own aura.
In such a state, he finds himself truly tranquil, the serene environment putting him at ease. In these periods of meditation, he not only keeps himself grounded and attuned to his home and his life, but also in touch with the powers that be that gave him his life.

I had the idea for this picture burning in my head for the longest time, and I have
gawkyghostie to thank for the fantastic amount of work that they put into this!
I got the idea from the OST for Okami, mainly the "Theme of the Celestials", but also from a few other select tracks from that game as well~
