I learned this technique from a funny little elf man dressed in green. It's a great way to clear out enemies when I'm surrounded. I can even use my tail to sweep out foes behind me while I'm doing it! The momentum it carries also makes it a great move to stabilise myself if I'm caught off balance. As the tank, I expect to be surrounded often - not that I mind, it just means I'm doing my job right - so I was quite happy to learn this useful little move. And all the elf man wanted in exchange was a simple glass bottle. He really treasures those things, for some reason.
