Taking a temporary hiatus from committed drawings, meaning probably no comms or anything for a bit.
My wrist has gotten pretty bad, and it looks like it may be over a month down the line til I get to get it working well again. I can manage to sit and draw a bit if I take some pain meds, but even they aren't helping as good as they were a week ago.
If I have a good day, I might attempt drawing something here or there, but can't count on it really.
So as a fond, temporary farewell to art, here's a goofy sketch of Vex, with Wildthing shifted like the Weasel ^w^!

EDIT: 9-1 Update
Things are looking up! I've seen a hand specialist and received some treatment, and will begin 12 weeks of physical therapy that should take me through to December. In the meantime, I'm allowed to start using my hand a bit more often, and so I'll be returning to drawing and such, albeit at a slower pace with more ample breaks.
Not quite up to opening commissions officially yet, but we'll get there ^_^!

First meeting with PT went well. Got a recovery plan in the works. I'm allowed (and this week ~ encouraged!) to test the pain limits and draw as much as possible
A bit rusty, and working through discomfort/pain, so still no comms yet, but excited to have the green light on pumping out a bunch of new practice pieces!
