Every new visitor to Craddock's lair is going to be offered an opportunity to try some 'Winter Activities', and if they even give the slightest inclination of interest, Craddock will eagerly take them out to the snowfield just West of his lair!
Braver volunteers may find themselves going sledding or even being taught to snowboard or ski! But when Tempest showed up here, Craddock already knew what he was going to try with him! Tempest seemed quite friendly, but timid at the same time. So perhaps a snowball fight would lower his guard! Make him feel a bit more comfortable!
So, Craddock lured Tempest out into the snowfield and directed his attention to the beautiful mountain vista!
But!
Just when Tempest was distracted and looking away, Craddock packed up a snowball, and tossed it right at Tempest's head!!
Turns out, Craddock's plan worked almost a little too well. Almost immediately, Tempest turned and stared right at him with lightning in his eyes! He was angry, enraged!! Something that Craddock did not expect from the seemingly reserved dragon!
Craddock immediately tried to play it off as cool, not intending anything with it, and once again Tempest's mood changed the very next second! The anger quickly subsided, as Tempest realized how trivial this 'attack' really was. He realized the intent of the gesture, and quickly moved to pack his own snowball, and return fire!
The sudden shifts in expression caught Craddock off guard this time around! And he got nailed right back by Tempest's own snowball!! Taking this to mean that Tempest was up for the challenge, Craddock initiated the fight proper, and began packing as many snowballs as he could! Tempest saw this and did the same, and before long the two were throwing snowball after snowball at each other!
While it didn't go exactly the way he envisioned it, Craddock's idea played out perfectly!
Yo huge thanks to
Blue for this really nice piece of gift art!! I really appreciate it!!!
A bit of a disclaimer but soon after this gift art was made, Tempest's design went through a bit of a change, so that's why if you look at the rest of RedAce's gallery Tempest looks a bit more solid blue now. But regardless it's a fantastic piece with this stage of his design!!
Make sure you check out the original HERE!!
