Zora is a member of the barbaric Komandoo Mob, and is as just as nasty and opportunistic as her mother, Nikita. After the suddenly passing of her father Hannibal, Nikita ends up becoming ill, making it very easy for Zora and her sister Kleintjie to overthrow her and kick her out of the mob. After Nikita was ousted, the two sisters fought viciously for the title of dominant female, which ended with Kleintjie coming out on top and Zora receiving a scar above her left eye. Kleintjie takes a rover named Rago as her mate and becomes pregnant with a litter of pups, while Zora merely bides her time, waiting for the right moment to strike back at her sister.
After Kleintjie gives birth, Zora attacks her and beats her into submission, claiming the coveted title of dominant female for herself. Since she herself wasn't pregnant at the time, Zora spares Kleintjie's newborn pups and allows her to stay for the time being. Zora produced a couple litters with Rago until he was killed by an eagle, which left her without a breeding partner. After a skirmish with the Udevu, Zora finds herself being pursued by a young roving male named Jogu. She had no intentions of letting him stay as he was rather weak and timid, not good traits for a potential mate. But as the dominant female Zora needs to keep the group's numbers up, so she allows Jogu to breed with her and then promptly chases him off.
Zora eventually gets her wish for a strong new mate when, after giving birth to Jogu's pups, four Udevu roving males manage to join the group. After becoming pregnant once again, she evicts several females including Kleintjie in order to safeguard her own unborn pups. But Zora isn't destined to rule the mob for much longer as she later ends up succumbing to disease, and ultimately brings the Komandoo Mob down with her.
And here we have my TLK version of Zorilla, the meerkat who portrayed Nikita in the last season of Meerkat Manor. I borrowed KMF's idea of Season 2-3 Nikita being the real Nikita while having Season 4 Nikita be one of her daughters. Plus, it's pretty obvious that the two females who portrayed Nikita were completely different meerkats. I mean, one of them had a big honkin' scar above her left eye while the other didn't. That would be like trying to pass off Yossarian as Zaphod.
