the eye seems to be weird

weird how?

angled wrong, to small, wrong shape?

The eye looks like it's set a little too low for the snout. Usin' the line markin' the top of the snout as a guide, the eye should level with it or just above it, dependin' on canid species. Apart from that, anotomy is good.

The shape of the eye in the edit is great, just move the eye up until the centre of the iris seems to lookin' down the top of the snout, and move it slightly forward.

I usually don't go all critique-heavy on people, but I saw this on the front page and saw you were asking for critique, so...

I'm not an expert on wolves, but I think the legs look really nice. The front legs/paws are my favorite part, so I'd say you should keep that as it is. (I don't know your "normal" style, though. XD; I'm just commenting on what I see here.) I think the muzzle looks a biiiit thick for a wolf; they have longer and narrower muzzles than dogs. (I don't know this specific character, though, so if that was done on purpose, then it's fine.) And, as a last note, the head and neck ruff look a little large to me compared to the size of the body.

Still love those front paws, though, holy crap. =D (And please keep in mind this was just me going off what looks right; I didn't Google a picture of a wolf or anything to look at. I'm not an expert on canine anatomy, either, so if someone tells you something that conflicts with what I said, then you might wanna go with their opinion. XD; )

And now I have Googled a wolf for you~ (I know I'm a random stranger, but I'm just trying to be helpful since you asked for it.)

Yeah, although I'd still make the muzzle skinnier, myself. XD Like I said, I'm not an expert.

Also~ I see some other people have said the eye looks weird, but...I actually prefer the eyes in the original version. Maybe the edited version is more realistic, but the eye on the verison posted here just looks better to me. Sometimes you have to choose between what looks good and what is super realistic. It depends on how realistic a style you want. And that part's up to you, since I don't know. XD

The body is good, but the head does not seem right. The ears are at an odd angle, and the muzzle and eye are not right. The eye is too pointed...should be more rounded. The ear closest to the viewer is backwards pointing on the inside. The muzzle is too straight and the forehead is too sharply angled. I don't think the tongue hanging out is quite right either...
Good start, especially on the body.

Well I just want to expand on my horizons so to say xD Cartoon style is fun, but I saw no improvement in it. And I can't grow by only having one style in my Arsenal xD
