Butter Slimes are a wide spread species of slime, which are very popular amongst talented cooks, bakers and compleat slobby pigs.

Their wide spreadbess made them a rather greatly adaptable to all three main types of natural climat based on temperature (see above). The solid and fairly tough structure of the Ice Butter Slime allows them to store vauliable heat inside, keeping the slime from freezing to death at the cost of their mobility. The Puddle Butter Slime gets spread across the heated surfaces its put on, not sure what practical use does it have for them though.

Their natural behaviour isn't too complicated, mostly focusing on spending most of their days lazly standing in the same place. Their relation with species other than themselfs are usually a morbid curiosity which can lead to them getting eaten or captured.

There there is an instance of two civilised slimes, Edritch and Geltrude (the slimes are reproducing asexually, meaning the species has no genders to speak of, with their names being based on above apperances). Both try their best to integrate into human society, even trying to imitate human speech, which they can't do due to their lack of organs. This is a proof that their natural adaptation limits can know no bounds, which is both impressive and... bizzare.

Their main atribute is the very substance they are made of. Its consistancy and color is simular to butter (hence the name), it can make for a great subtitute for regular butter.
