Go for it! I'm happy you like the term. ^_^ Honestly, I don't know why lionfish are called, lionfish. Porcupine, pin needle, urchin, razor, poison, frill, spike...any of those would have been more appropriate. They don't even have similar color schemes :( But, if I ever draw her like this again, I may go with lionfish. As for her tail, that's just how I usually tend to draw mermaid tails. Following and translucent like a sheer silk ribbon. ♡
