This, folks, is the very first drawing I have made on my shiny new Cintiq!
... it would also be a lot more complete than THIS if not for all the technical issues I'm having with the damn thing. xD (Can only get it to function properly about half the time.)
This here is an illustration I'm making for my pal
SHimmortal, featuring
Serephis, both of whom helped introduce me to "Magic: The Gathering" a few weeks ago. :3 The experience, on the whole, was a lot more... uh, let's say "Intense" than I was expecting. ^^;
Working with a Cintiq is pretty awesome, yeah, though, like any new tool, it takes some time to adjust to it. The linework in there aren't quite as tight as I might like. I definitely prefer it to my old tablet, but it's going to be an experimental phase as I try to figure the ins and the outs of this thing-er-mah-bobber. Hope these two don't mind being my guinea pigs. :P

Looks pretty awesome in my opinion being your first Cintiq penpic :D
This is definitely one way for a TCG to be extreme, it's almost like that time Drew Barrymore and Bill Murray were playing WoW while skydiving off Mt. Everest in bikinis with their feet tied behind their heads, without parachutes, and a bottle of Jaegermeister!
Hehe, but this did come out quite awesome my man, I can see what you mean by the lines but I'm sure you'll fix that thing into doing what you want, perhaps you should forcibly draw some hardcore Ronso porn on that thing, either it'll be like your other electronics and fizz out with a "Gotdammit no more! No more catcock! NOOOOO!!!" OR! You finally found your sou-... Techmate! And as you draw it'll get the biggest tablet boner ever and you can start using THAT as the stylus, it could be a match made in heaven, you may have to hide it from family and friends though, "Uh... Bioxz, why is that block thing moaning an-... Did it, did it just squirt mayonnaise into the air? What is drawn on it? Is that that guy from that finale fable game you like? I can see most but a bunch of his pants are coated in this mayonnaise, let grandma have a taste, hm... Doesn't taste like mayonnaise... Tasty though!"
In the end, I don't really see much I could critique on, maybe the Fox's right arm seems a bit thin (I can see it's meant to bend away from the viewer as it's holding that deck), but just a scoosh thicker be all, other than that, it looks great man, always wonderful seeing you post your yayness on here :D

Well, gosh, I HAD considered taking a dominatrix approach with the Cintiq and all the issues it's been sending my way (in fact, just last night as I was out with my friends, they were suggesting lessons in being more dominant... apparently, the bitches I keep in line are not nearly kept in line enough), but rather than paying X amount of dollars for a course in which I'll probably just get whipped and spanked 50 time a night, why DON'T I try your approach out? I always preferred the more subtle, psychological approach to seducing both people and inanimate objects to the daaaaaaaaark siiiiiiiiiiiiide. xD (What do you think I've been doing with YOU all this time?)
Thanks for the feedback, dude. I shall try and fix those little points up when I get back to this mofo, and hopefully attain a more masterful mastery of the inklines. As far as things go for now, though, I think I'm off to a decent start, so thanks for reinforcing my delusion. xD

Oh but you need to man! Get you some crotch-high black leather boots, a corset, and a bull whip, and whip that bitch into submission, it needs to know pleasure before business, pain before pleasure! Exactly! Look at what you've done to me, before I was a wreck, now I'm a fucking Cadillac with transmission problems (Mainly because you keep cramming my tailpipe with something, not like I'm complaining though) :P
I'm sure you'll get the hang of it man :), I know it takes a while before you can get the hang out of a new toy, but I'm sure you'll start cranking out your awesomeness in no time :D

Looks very interesting lolz. My roomate in college tried to teach me that game once, he had like eight decks and whooped my ass solidly for two hours. Haven't touched it since . I love the angle you've drawn here too, it's really energetic, as is the perspective on the guy bursting in ^^
Yeah, that's pretty well similar to what happened the night I popped my Magic cherry. xD I spent about an hour building up my deck, getting ready to take on any evil that dared challenge me... then Serephis killed my ass in one turn. :( Apparently, he was in possession of the "Fuck you, I win" card.
Thanks, man. :) I did wanna do something a little more dynamic than usual, maybe something to break up the tension in the room. I swear, near the end of that match, a pin dropping would have set people off. :P That's sorta where the inspiration for this came from. :3

Wow, this is pretty epic! At first I thought it was a homage to "Inception" with the extreme angle! I think the table may need some legs and Shimortal may need some proper eyes, but this is great! *plays epic kung fu music*
I had friends who tried to get me to play Magic, but I lost interest a little after learning about "tapping" landscapes. I also went over to a friends house where they were playing Dungeons and Dragons and was so bored I had to resort to leafing through a philosophy book on logic to keep myself awake. World of Warcraft (and then Starcraft) hit my dorm like a plague and my roommate and I were the only ones who were spared from sitting in the same room with friends but never talking or looking away from the computer screen. Grades dropped, it was all they'd talk about at lunch, it was like a drug!
I guess it wasn't as devestating as Pokemon.

Heh... thanks, didn't notice the lack of table legs, but truth be told, I was having a hard time with the eyes, as, I dunno, I don't think the Cintiq was working with me on that one. Still gotta get a little used to it. I decided to just erase them for the sake of this preview so that no one will realize how horrible they looked in the developmental process. xD
I can totally sumpathize, man... just regular video gaming and the internet in general was enough of a distraction in school... I heard horror stories about was WoW did to people's lives, and decided that since I can already become easily addicted to regular video games, than I should stay the fuck away from that shit. Still a tabletop RPG virigin, though, so who knows, maybe that'll be the next thing they drag me down into. xD In the meantime, though, I still had fun with this... even after Serephis fucking murdered me in one shot.
Anyhow, thanks for the feedback, and I'll try and get them eyes right so that they are presentable. If not... then hey, visors are cool accessories, still, right? :P

Hi, merci beaucoup, man.
Merci encore! :D

Awesome to hear about your new tablet! I'm sure it will enable you to create all kinds of wonderful, even more amazing art once you've gotten it down pat.
I have to agree, that angle (and the action lines) is kick-ass! I could never really get into Magic either for some reason (maybe because I was never properly taught how to play it) but I do love D&D and have just started getting into WoW thanks to my mate Seneca. (Luckily I can only play it when visiting him, otherwise I'd probably be rather addicted...) So I can appreciate how something seemingly so silly and unimportant can come to be viewed as very serious. Like furry art! :P
