久しぶりだな!
So I cannot for the life of me bring myself to work diligently on anything original in this current age of "Everything belongs anonymously to the Internet, even watermarked stuff bc somebody will edit it out" and with my current status of still being paid very well for doing non-art work... not to rant too much, but point is I found a My Little Pony colouring book in a Little Free Library that some child(ren?) had already partly worked on before abandoning. At the time I figured, no one else will want this, I'll take it and try to fix up some of the unfinished pieces.
The biggest problem (besides working with someone else's marker job) is my own markers bleed through the pages like nobody's business, so markering up one picture ruins the one on the other side, something I had hoped to avoid too much (also, that there are pictures on the other side). The second biggest problem is most of the pictures are two-page spreads, which doubles the biggest problem. The third biggest problem is using coloured pencil, like I did for the Fluttershy spread, is SO TEDIOUS, bc at some point in moving to multiple places, I got rid of the electric pencil sharpener I had, so hand-sharpening pencils killed a lot of the momentum I'd had with the markers.
Still, this was an interesting exercise, and certainly one of the only ways I will get to use up my remaining physical media (not that I'm doing any more pages... if anything, I'll work on a fresh book). I have an idea of what I want to do with the rest of the book, but I'm not saying what in case I forget and don't do it after all, and who wants to get anyone's hopes up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
