This is awesome. Reminds me of when I did telephone tech support, and sometimes when I'd answer, dudes would be all like, "You're a woman! Put someone on the phone that knows how to fix a computer!"

When I managed a comic book store I hired a female employee. She had to deal with idiocy too, but nothing that bad. *sigh* I miss that job.

*nodnods* since I moved to a new city I keep checking with the few comic book shops around town, but its so hard to get a job there. You really seem to need connections or be super lucky.

When I go to the comic book store, the guys scatter. Its hilarious, like they haven't seen a real woman in a long time, and having one invade their fantasy world fills them with fear.

But yeah, known guys like that, who will insult you then ask you out, usually run into those at parties, some friend of a friend that no one really likes.
