**Embla Reed, the betrayed tactician**


Embla Reed, is a female Northen Sergal, that lived in the Shigu Republic on Planet Animalia. She is 21 by the start of the 5 year war, when Chapter 1 begins. A Sergal with a stubborn personality, strong, with a will that doesn’t falter, Embla likes to never give up in the toughest of conditions and push on. Her early life was the vase that taught her how to make the best out of difficult situations.

Most of her early life is left to speculation, not much is know, but what is known for sure, is that moved to her original home in the Shigu Republic with her parents when she was 10, after residing for approximately 4 years in the state of Adleria. From a young age, Embla was always fascinated by the army, and during primary school and college periods she would often visit the nearby military base bear the capital Silviria on the way home. At this base, close to Silviria it is hypothesized that she inherited the many skills that made her the tactician and soldier she is known to today, as she joined training with the soldiers there. Many soldiers loved to share their experiences with the young soldier and allowed her to take part in a program for new recruits. Again, a hypothesis arose, that here, someone from the base’s training program began teaching Embla her how fire weapons accurately, and how to fight hand to hand with melee weapons. There, she also inherited a combat axe, which became her favorite weapon of choice, that she still holds on to this day. After finishing high school, she enrolled in the Shigu Militant forces as a conscript. Her combat skills, as well as her tactical, command, diplomatic and medical skills proved to be far above average, and she would go as far as to admitted to the Shigu military academy, with a personal recommendation from the part of her unit Captain. There, she personally met Vi’dar (when he was in training) and Rain Silves (as a classmate, still in training before her transfer to Adleria’s Naval Academy). She became a veritable friend of the two during their period of study. After 3 years of her academy time she is promoted to Senior Lieutenant and Head Tactician of an infantry division. During this time, her goals evolved into achieving the rank of Military Captain.

Fate however, didn't favor Embla, as her military career during peacetime has turned from dream into a nightmare. With the beginning of the 5 year war, she was forced to join the forces on the front lines early, and an unfortunate mixup during the frantic panic to defend Silviria and the nation, had led to an unfortunate assignment to the wrong unit. The new unit didn’t take kindly to new leaders and her trust was lost during a set of early engagements, that led to heavy losses. This would be the ultimate mistake and it would spell doom for the Young tactician. For multiple times, her unit was send directly to the MW lines, and it sustained considerable losses, eventually loosing the entire command structure, leaving Embla alone. The survivors, seeing that the tactician didn’t estimate for the last of the heavy losses, had ditched her… This led to her capture by MW forces.

The Wolf invaders had taken her to one Dr. Henry Miller’s interrogation tents, where they proceeded to pierce her snout and add a tracking chip. This is where she met the infamous doctor, and she sustained multiple injuries. Luckily, Embla manages to break out and fight her way back to the Shigu border with just her axe, traversing Lupinian forests and mountains, the Oasis deserts. Just as she reached the border however, she was deemed as a traitor by Shigu authorities, seen as a renegade by many officers, a fact which denied Embla’s entry, and forcing her to survive along the border alone for several grueling months. 4 Months later n the same year during the winter, she was found by a sympathetic border guard, which suggested that she should join Rain’s newly established army, which heading for the border in a massive counterattack. Embla’s journey against Her only hope now, is to find her old friend to help her, to find someone that won’t hurt her just as her country did…
