"Sector 0" is a restricted area on the planet Zekko. It is placed under a gigantic hole in Zekko's atmosphere. This allows for the formation of a very desired metal called "Stratonium", due to its almost indestructible nature.
The only way to acquire stratonium is to either be a high ranked member of Zekko's government, or illegally extract it, tho it is heavily guarded.
Colossus is mainly made of Stratonium (73%) , and other alien materials desirable for a combat unit. Major on the other hand, is made out of 35% of stratonium, as he is not meant to be a juggernaut like Colossus.
