That the name of the roller coaster was "Hurley" should have been a clue it was cursed, that the carts had wings was another. While Hake's ride ended with him unable to board at all being too short, he may have been the lucky one. Duncan's ride started out normal enough but went pear shaped rather quickly when his cart began losing parts on the first loop and it went downhill from there (and up and down again). To Riggy this is a new earthly experience and he is just enjoying it to the fullest thinking it is all just part of the ride.
