Thanks, yea. I like the Trophy Truck look...I put on an upgraded rear bumper as well gives it even more of a Trophy truck look...and that body is actually a Limited Edition stock body that came with it...Scott Douglas who drives in TORC (or at least that's what it used to be called)

and I love the wheels that are on it...I wanted them because they were licensed Maxxis tires...as I also run Maxxis tires on my mountain bike.

I am hoping to get one of these once I get enough cash. I'm tired of screwing around with Wal-Mart R/C cars that can't even climb over an anthill

the Traxxas Slash is the most fun you'll have for $200. the Slash is one of the most durable trucks as well even more durable when you add on RPM upgrades...

all the current bodies I have for it I've beaten the crap out of...they're all ripped and dented and destroyed in someway Lol

How long do the batteries last?

depends on what kinda battery...NiMH usually about 10-15mins....LiPo about 30-45mins and there's no power loss with LiPos like there is with NiMH (by power loss I mean the truck won't go slower and slower as the batteries die)

no problem...and if you get into LiPos. be sure to get a LiPo compatible charger...ESC as well as a balancer if the charger doesn't have a built in one...and get a LiPo charging bag..

wallmart cars are fun to pull apart tho and screw with i once put a 6 pack battery on one it went like hell till it caught fire

Wal-Mart RCs are also great if you're into scale crawlers....as they usually have VERY detailed bodies including an interior..opening doors etc....I have one on my scale crawler..a 2005 2500 Silverado crew cab

Tamiya > traxxas

meh. I'll never own a Tamiya. i've been a Traxxas fan forever. they make durable stuff.

only Tamiya thing I'd ever own...is a Clodbuster body for my Axial crawler. only because I like the older Chevy's
