Done at Anthrocon 2009, for Aelius of his bat girl Lily and Joshua‘s bat girl Bambi: the title sums up this commission fairly accurately. Just your average couple o’ bats, enjoying a relaxing summer day on the sand. Although come to think of it, bats being nocturnal, this could just as well be a summer night. Though that does make tanning somewhat more problematic. I think one of my favorite aspects of this commission is the way the bat on the left has her wings sprawled out behind her head, it just imparts a nice sense of relaxation to the scene.
