He did not have much of a ref to go by except in story. But on this one I wanted to just go with my gut to see if the vision I got in my mind matched what he has in his story without actually knowing more about him. Guess we will see. Either way he was fun to draw.

And on a side note. Recently a loved on of mine was attacked by a low life troll. She was accused of copying art (Outlandish charge since it is one of the most common poses in all history). But anyway, cristisism came into the convo... Well I just want to say that you all are free to critisize me all you want. Tell me what you don't like. Tell me what's wrong. Tell me if it's way off or good. I can more than take it. But if you do. Whether it be on my art or any other's. Just be civil.

Nice! When writing the stories I pictured him rather plain... kinda based off myself. But now that I think about it, one can't be a soldier without having a physique to go with it. So I say it's a serious improvement!
Did want to mention that his left eye seems just slightly off - looking just a hair further to the side. But that could just be a slight perspective angle that I'm not picking up on.
And the title fits him perfectly.
