Prince Endearment is the son of Princess Skysparkle. Princess Teatime is the daughter of Princess Stellanova. Although they're cousins, they feel like brother and sister.

Teatime, as you might guess, is a great fan of tea. In fact, she helped turn the art of tea into a science. Mixing tea ingredients, to her, is much like mixing chemicals or potions. People who've been invited to her tea parties have felt they've shared in a magical experience!

Up to now, Nightlight has known mainly Princess Skysparkle and Prince Endearment. She has been one of their special students. Up to now, Starlyre has known mainly White Night, who is Nightlight's big brother. Star has not known any of the rulers on a personal level. As Nightlight and Starlyre really get to know Teatime, they start to suspect she is autistic.

Teatime doesn't have many close friends. Although she's a charming girl to meet, she keeps mainly to herself. But with those she really knows and loves, she can hardly get enough of their company!

Endearment is awake mainly during the day, and Teatime is awake mainly during the night. This means they meet each other mainly during the morning and evening. Teatime is very much attached to her cousin. He has long been her best friend. She kind of misses him when he's asleep. Sometimes she will hug him while he's fast asleep.

(Endearment gets up around 4 a.m. and goes to bed around 10 p.m. Teatime gets up around 4 p.m. and goes to bed around 10 a.m. This means they have two windows they can meet each other: 4-10 in the morning and 4-10 in the afternoon/evening.)

432 years ago, Stellanova tried to overthrow her sister, Skysparkle. With the help of Endearment and Teatime, Sky defeated Nova. Although she felt she did the right thing, Teatime felt guilty about inheriting her mother's crown this way. She didn't want to keep her newfound power all to herself. Therefore, Teatime decided to share her crown with Endearment.

Because he shares his cousin's crown, Endearment is on equal footing with his mother. Skysparkle didn't really plan it this way; she always loved having her son as her little boy. She taught him to be a strong father figure, yet she always wanted him to feel like her child. In practice, Endearment still sees his mother as the main leader. He usually seeks her support before making a big decision.

Teatime is usually shy in the face of strangers. Yet she is not afraid to speak her mind. Tactfulness has been harder for her to learn that it's been for Endearment. Because she's a pretty girl, people are more likely to overlook her social mistakes (especially men). Therefore (apart from the fact she's a ruler), she's been spared the social isolation that many autistic people have suffered.

Intellectually, Teatime is more intelligent than Endearment. Endearment, on the other hand, has shown more emotional intelligence. Endearment has never matched Teatime's engineering skills. Conversely, Teatime does not feel as confident as a diplomat.

Visual Description:

At a small table, Prince Endearment and Princess Teatime sit across from each other. Both of them are alicorns, somewhat taller than normal ponies. The table is covered with a tablecloth, and a tea kettle sits in the middle.

With her horn, Teatime holds her tea cup. The two cousins smile toward each other. Endearment playfully sticks out his tongue.

Teatime is dark pinkish purple, and she has wavy hair. Her hair has four stripes: bright golden yellow, bright blue, dark blue, and bright blue again. Her "friendship mark" is a light pink tea cup with three stars above. The top star is a tall golden 8-point star. The lower two stars are white four-point stars.

Teatime wears a silver-gold crown, breastplate, and shoes. Her crown is a small three-point crown with a round purple-pink jewel. Her breastplate has the same kind of jewel. Her horn glows violet.
