Mr Flynn O'Donnell is happy with the pubs being open because, due to his Irish nature, drinking home was getting depressing.
I didn't include it in the picture, but he's looking at Bernard, which is hardly trying to finish a glass. He drinks a lot too, but not strong beverages like whiskey, rum or vodka like Flynn here, who got the body of a loooong lasting pirate family.
