That is actually a rather accurate description. He actually sits in a pocket dimension that he calls the Infinite Library and together with his small weasel-spirit-thing companion he moves through space and time to collect knowledge of all kinds as well as stories about people that just happen to catch his interest. In the Library you can find anything, from a stone tablet containing the first writings of a civilisation, to the blue prints for turning a black hole into a bomb. Sometimes he and his little buddy spend a few centuries just reading through their stuff. One can only remember so much after all.

I have been doing A LOT of character and world building the last two years. So much stuff to write. So little time. D:
