Yeah, what I will tentatively call "Christian myth" gets insane. Angels, Devils, Hell and even to an extent Heaven as they are traditionally depicted are Disney versions of Divine Comedy. Divine Comedy itself is quite a bit weirder and then the text themselves are absolutely insane.
The Gospel of Judas has Jesus opposing God because God (and yes I mean the Yahweh the God of the Bible) is now this deceiver god and the god most Christians worship as even the twelve disciples worshipped said god unknowingly. It gets pretty cool if you ask me, like Lovecraft read through greek myth and that did not fly for the Bible.
