Suzie meets a sweet girl on the beach who seems to really love shells! She can’t talk but Suzie can tell she has a lot of personality.

Song of the Sea is a beautiful Irish fairy tale about a brother and his mute younger sister who is actually a selkie. What starts out as an attempt to get home after being forced to live with their grandmother in the city turns in to a quest to save the little selkie girl and escape a curse.

From the same studio that made Secret of the Kells, Song of the Sea is visually stunning with an engaging emotional story and a wonderful soundtrack. Because it's an Irish fairy tale it has a different feel and format to the typical western fairy tales we're used to. So if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend checking it out.
