In life, the great dragon, Devios, was a powerful figure. Too powerful some said of the warrior mage. Either way, Devios was a powerful man who had ruled over the lands Whitefall with a near Iron fist. He did ensure the safety of those who resided in his kingdom but still was strict though he tended to save his wrath for anyone who dared move against him. But in the end, Devios had been fatally wounded during a particular siege that saw other kingdoms working together to dethrone him from Whiterun. But he escaped down into the depths of his castle through a secret passage hidden in the dungeon before succumbing to his wounds. To those above, the dragon was gone and for decades since, lived in relative peace. But this was not the case.

Slimes had begun to gravitate towards the caves beneath the castle though it was hard to tell if it was of their own accord or if they were influenced by other means. But one day, a slime had come across a particular set of bones before absorbing them into its body as it intended to absorbs the bones for nutrients. However the lingering spirit of Devios had different plans for the slime as once the skull was drawn in, the slime was unable to ward off the powerful magics that enveloped it. Whatever will it held was lost to the dragon as Devios sought out more slimes to gain more mass. In time, Devios was able to gather enough slimes that he was able to compose a suitable body as a means of moving around.

He had returned to life thanks to the mindless slimes but with a new body, was beginning to realize said body came a plethora of new abilities and powers that he could manipulate. Being composed of slime, he was able to stretch and compress his body as thick or as thin as needed. But along with being able to stretch his body, he could change form as well as being able to change the consistency of his body from being as fluid as water to as hard as stone and metal. But that was his own body. He was also able to summon tentacles to ensnare his enemies but also control and summon slime minions thanks to his magic.

He was a dangerous dragon already but now with his new body, he had become even more dangerous. For now it was time to reclaim his kingdom much less conquering the kingdoms who slew him.
