I don't know how you people see these things. I just see some weird green slime image.

It takes some practice. Do it enough, and you won't even have to try anymore. I had to use tools to assist when I first started seeing them (tricks such as holding it up to a window while focusing through it, or crossing my eyes on a pencil and moving it forward and back in front of it) but now I can see them at a glance, even stay focused on them well enough to make them on the fly (for example, in notepad: http://ic3.deviantart.com/fs5/f/200.....ilon_Sigma.txt )

My recommendation: get yourself a magic eye book and mess with it, or get a poster and put it on the ceiling above your bed (oh yea, that works well... just lie there and stare at it, letting your eyes unfocus on the pattern in low light each night, and it'll eventually come to you)

They're pretty easy. For ones like this, you need a 3D modeling program (Anim8tor works) to construct and/or render a depth map of a model, and then you use SISGen to fuse it with a pattern.

SISGen only works with greyscale bitmaps. You need 3D models... to use 3D models. You can turn anything into a stereogram, but a modeling program makes it easier.
