Thats the blue paste/dye used to decorate the faces and bodies of the Celts , Picts and Scots, especially during the times of the Roman Occupation in Britain. If you've ever seen the 1995 movie 'Braveheart' with Mel Gibson in the role of William Wallace, the one main battle of Sterling midway in the film, you see the Scots all painted up. "Ah dinna get mahself all pretty for nothing!"
Often used by Arabic nomads and tribes today, but usually in a brown. Usually for ceremonial/wedding celebrations.
Its becoming more popular with woman as a form of temporary 'tattoo' along the wrists, hands and face, usually in decorative patterns.

In fact, at first I wanted to make the mask red, but since I decided to make the main color of the character chestnut in the process, I finally decided that the red mask was not suitable and replaced it with a cold color. I didn't plan to do anything specific Celtic or Scottish.
