So, here we have a pic that I thought I posted years ago, but seem to have forgotten on here. A character who’s been around almost as long as Sabrina and Ariana as both of their rivals: Wu Tou, the head thief.
Her story:
Wu Tou, a doe, (and one who’s name is an in-joke if you know Chinese ), is a form of "trapped soul." In Quing China during the Opium Wars, Her father was a master sword maker and her mother was a high Mage. They worked together one day to create an enchanted sword to be used for practice. The sword cuts seamlessly through the body, leaving the body part detached, but "alive." (Aka a sort of stasis) Each cut had a different length of time before it could be reattached and felt. A limb, 10 to 15 minutes; the torso, a couple hours; the head, being the most permanent and deadly of them all, 12 - 18 hours. While a part is severed, the rest of the body is unable to be harmed by any other weapon, and will remain alive and unaging until that part is reattached.
Wu Tou was decapitated using this sword by the ancestor to Sabrina, (TBD later) Dalton, who didn't know about the enchantment. His men shot her parents, but he, in a twisted form of "respect" for the family, decapitated Wu and her siblings, taking their still living heads with them as trophies. Almost two hundred years later, they still have yet to recover their heads. But while Wu's siblings happily took an eternal life without their heads, Wu Tou is still out for revenge.
Over the decades though, Wu began to see others heads as collectibles and accessories. Having learned a spell that allows her to control the heads she wears and change into their species at will, as well as outright being a skilled mage in her own right, she regularly seeks out different and unique heads, with this in many ways taking priority over getting revenge on Sabrina’s family. By the 2020s, she has amassed a collection of well over a thousand, maybe as many as 5000 heads, from every nation, species, culture, and planet, all stored in her lair, a secret pocket dimension keyed to her DNA.
Here we see a few of her favorite heads, usually those of her lovers, with her holding her absolute favorite, a doe head named Gwendolyn, or Gwen. One of her first decapitations, Gwen was taken from a rich but abusive family, so quickly took to liking Wu. And, being so close to Wu species wise, has sort of become Wu’s adopted sister and main head, and sort of partner in crime. Whenever Wu goes out in public, usually it’s Gwen she has on top. Gwen tends to be the real social one of the two, laying down the charm so as to allow Wu to take their heads. Although she can also be the voice of reason for Wu.
So, you will definitely see more of these two in time, with them playing such a pivotal role in my stories (when I ever get around to finishing and posting them lol), and you better hope you aren’t next on her list.
