Transation: "Drinking Alcohol" (or like that)
One evening, after a recent dangerous incident that affected Fain's life, she was sitting in a bar, looking at a little bird brazenly drinking alcohol. Suddenly, Gabriel came out of the back room of the bar.
He asked what was going on here. And after the answer, he began to ask serious questions already:
- OK. Now tell me what you got yourself into and where did you meet the demon?
The question itself greatly frightened the snake. Escalating the situation, the vampire pushed Fain to the counter, dismissing the possibility of escape.
- Now tell me what happened."
- Come on, Gaby, it's nothing. I'm alive ...
- I said quickly. You have one minute. - And only now Fain noticed that the vampire was quite angry.
After a cursory account of the events in which the snake itself could have suffered quite a lot, she moved on to the ending, which seems to have had the greatest effect on Gabriel:
- In general, there was a demon sitting in that room in the pentagram. Well, Chris and I broke the circle, and the demon disappeared, although before that he almost killed his student and wounded Chris with his claws. when she finished, she paused, catching her breath after a confused speech.
The vampire relented, taking a deep breath:
- Is that why you're always trying to die?
- Me? I'm not trying, I'm just doing what I have to ...
- Run. The vampire released her and went to get his coat. Fain stared at him in bewilderment:
- In what sense?..
Gabriel didn't speak, he just turned around, looking at her with the same look. Fane ran out of the bar. After running far enough away, she looked back. Gabriel also left the bar, closing the door, after which he himself ran after the girl.
Driven by fear and incomprehension, Fain ran further and further.
She turned the corner and did not look back again, because she heard that he was gradually gaining on her.
Suddenly she felt his claws touch her jacket, and with a soft squeak, she turned sharply to the right and ran faster.
When Gabriel was still a little behind, she took advantage of the delay to turn into a snake and slip away into a tunnel in the pavement. She lay still, her body deflated and rose, from the rapid breathing. Suddenly, footsteps were heard that began to slow down.
- Fain, I know your tricks! Turned into a snake and hid somewhere here? Come out, it will hurt more! - The snake saw the silhouette of a vampire who began to look for her between the boxes. Confused in her thoughts, she began to crawl around the corner of the street, when she almost crawled, she was confused by the complete silence of the alley. And then she turned around.
Two golden eyes, as well as clawed hands, looked at her from the darkness. The snake hissed and jumped aside.
