Soren, along with many other spooky denizens use terror energy to create a spooktacular carnival park in the middle of the woods between the bright colored living denizens and the Nightmarens. Soren is one of the more powerful ones, and greedy enough to not want to share in the terror to help maintain the carnival (which drains them). He often haunts the living for his own purposes, even going out of his way within the carnival to prey on unsuspecting rule breakers, but he will also leave the carnival grounds as well.
He tends to turn people into carnival delights such as balloon animals, cotton candy, games, or even common household inanimate objects (with a spooky, gothic flair of course). He's sadistic and enjoys torturing his victims... so don't break the rules and exorcise the house the moment you realize there's a ghost in there. This is the last malicious spirit you want in your residence.
