*Even though Dwayne has grown larger, doesn't mean he's slow. He is very quick-footed and athletic do to the training and working out he has gone through.

Appearance: Dwayne has finally evolved. Due to a friend's kindness, he obtained a Fire Stone and had gone through many changes. Strangely, due to his Houndoom genetics, he has the colorations of a Houndoom. The Arcanine had shot up several inches and now was pretty tall, although he was still on the short side compared to most Arcanine. During those 4 months, Dwayne had trained and worked out. His arms, legs, and thighs were a bit large and muscular. His back was decently tone. His chest wasn't flabby, but they were toned as well. However, his stomach still had that round belly, but it wasn't all fat, but a bit toned. Dwayne still has that X shaped scar between he's vibrant hazel eyes; Not even Evolution couldn't fix that.

Fashion: Dwayne has an array of styles. He's known to wears sweater vest a lot, has a decent collection of various hats, and possession a few collars. Dwayne occasionally wears traditional Chinese fashion as a respect to his mother's side of the family. He tends away from extremes of loose and tight clothing. He also has ear stud piercings on both his ears. Dwayne's eyesight is less to be desired. The pup is normally seen wearing frameless glasses, but during battles he wears contacts.

Battle Outfit:
1) Dwayne wears traditional kung fu attire as his Battle Uniform. The top his adorn with prints of dragons upon them. The outfit is made of flame resistant material to prevent catching for from his attacks. The top is an ivory white while the trim and pants are ebony black. The outfit is fit so he can move and attack with quickness and precision.

Similar to Feng Wei's outfit from Tekken 6. However the difference it that it is black and white. Presenting Yin and Yang. The left pant left is solid black while the white side has Chinese calligraphy on it. The cloth is both black and white and has a Yin-Yang emblem embroiled on it.

Personality: Dwayne, unlike most fire types, is calm, mild-tempered, and quiet. He is the type of person who likes to contemplate about the things, big or small. He is quite intelligent and loves the topics of history and science. He loves to question things and experiment to reach conclusions. During battles, he loves to plan tactics and strategies. Dwayne has been label a "geek" from time to time. He will drool over the newest technologies and is quite the video gamer.

Since evolving, Dwayne has become a bit more outgoing and confident. Unlike most of his brass fellow fire types, he isn’t so forward. That is, unless he gets to know you better. When the wall comes down he is quite the friendly person. He loves to help others. He is also quite charitable and generous. If you get to know him even better he'll completely come out of his shell. When around his close friends, he can be a bit smug, but still good-hearted. He can also be a bit of a pervert, but that normally comes with the male territory. Although he can be perverted, he is quite the romantic person when it comes to someone he holds close to his heart. However, this is more private. In public, if he sees something (for example, a guy's abs) he will become nervous and flushed; it is especially worst when it’s a guy he likes.

Temperament: As said before, Dwayne is a calm, mild-tempered canine. Insults and other things don’t bother him. If anything he'd come back with a witty remark. However, everyone has their own capacity for tolerance. When that cup runeth over, then the stereotypical hot-headed fire type comes out. When mad, his tongue is like a silver dagger, sharp and quiet hurtful. He would never hurt anyone but he is quite the cannon when enraged.

Habits/hobbies:
Hobbies -Dwayne is quite a bright Growlithe. He loves to test theories and experiments constantly. In his early teens, he accidently electrocuted his friend, who is still alive and in great condition, when he experimented with electrical currents. The pup is a bookworm as well. He loves to read in quiet places and dives into the stories of his favorite genres: Mystery, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Gothic Horror, Adventure, and Graphic Novels. Dwayne also has a passion for dance. When he is alone or around his close friends he would move his body to the music flowing through his ears, either Ballroom or Hip-Hop Dance. Dwayne practices kung-fu and meditation to ease his mind and body. This is one reason why his has a excellent temperament and a leveled mind.

Habits: Dwayne has a tiny case of ADD. His attention will quickly shift to something else. For example, if he was talking to someone outside and someone happens to throw a ball, Dwayne would cease talking and either would stare at the ball or go chase after it. The incidents of ADD do not happen to often but they do happen (for comedic relief x3). Dwayne is a bashful person, so when he is around someone who he thinks is attractive or he likes he tends to stutter. He also stutters when he his scared or nervous. Dwayne can also be quite the Klutz when he's nervous as well. Actually, Dwayne is pretty accident prone

Background: David Rogers, Dwayne's father, was a Sinnoh Native. He was an adventurous man and explored many landmarks of Sinnoh and travel around the regions. During a plane expedition to Hoenn, a storm abruptly formed on a clear June day and the plane crashed. David was the only survivor and unconscious, when he came to and a beautiful Arcanine woman, Shunchun Ling, was mending his wounds. When he tried to thank her, she began to speak another language. David discovered it was Chinese, and he determined that the plane had been thrown off course and crashed in China. It took a year for David to recovery from the accident in both body and financially. In time, the feelings between David and Shunchun grew extremely deep. David taught Shunchun English. Likewise, Shunchun taught David Chinese. When David earned enough money to travel back to Sinnoh, he asked for Shunchun to come with him and marry him. She agreed and they travel by boat back to Sinnoh. When they arrived they quickly married each other and moved to the Kanto. They settled down in Cinnabar Island. David start his own exploration company, while Shunchun start her own Chinese Restaurant.

Shunchun soon gave birth to Dwayne Ling Rogers. Dwayne was given Ling as a namesake for his mother's Chinese heritage. Dwayne slowly began to grow by 8 months his could walk, at 12 months he could use the bathroom all by himself, by 3 his could speak in small’s sentences. David was homeschooled by his mother who was equally as intelligent as Dwayne is now. Thanks to his mother he was far ahead of most the children his age by 12. He could speak two languages and was fairly bright. However, Dwayne was not so happy with his sheltered life on Cinnabar. He loved the warm, tranquil island, but he felt so lonely. His mother had taught the boy Kung Fu to defend himself. Unknown to Dwayne and David, Shunchun was a well known battler in China as she was passing her battling style down to her son. 2 years later, David was commissioned to go on an expedition in Viridian Forest and Shunchun returned to China to visit her family. David and Dwayne traveled to Viridian City, however David's younger brother, Michael, was in charge of watching Dwayne. Michael was glad to finally have a chance to be with his nephew. So, he and Dwayne went to watch a expedition match of Professional Battlers. This was the first time Dwayne had ever seen something like this. He always thought the skills his mother had taught him were a form of meditation. Dwayne was intrigued and wanted to watch more when it was over. Michael had told Dwayne that his grandfather was once a profession fighter. Even he and his father had entered a Combat Academy in the Sinnoh Region in their childhood. The Rogers Brothers were well known throughout the school during their years and graduated at the top of their class. Dwayne wondered why his father said nothing about this part of his childhood. The pup guessed that it was a chapter of his that he didn’t want to discuss. Dwayne learning about his family use to be battlers was exciting and intrigued him to enter the Combat Academy in Viridian.

Dwayne’s fifteenth birthday soon rolled along. However, this was not the best of birthdays. His mother had grown ill in the past month. She had invited her brother and sister over to take care of the restaurant while she was bed ridden. Dwayne helped his mother around the house and did things she was too weak to do. When he’s birthday rolled around he spent it at his mother’s bed side. He made them a small cake for them to share. His mother appreciated that fact that her son was so kind and generous like she was to his father those many years ago. Dwayne fell asleep with his head next to his mother. Yet, all was not peaceful as they slept. When night fell, their house was broken into. A group of Murkrow and their leader, a Honchkrow, had gotten into their home. They began to ransack the house. The Honchkrow busted into the room where Dwayne and his mother were sleeping. Obviously, these guys were amateur crooks. The sinister bird demanded what the pin was to the safe to the restaurant, which was right next door to the house. Shunchun said nothing as the Honchkrow threaten her with a knife. Enraged by the fact that his beloved mother was in danger, he began to lose his calm attitude. He jumped onto the bird’s back and started to bite the bird as he tore the feathers out and left a mark. The Bird flew into the ceiling and made Dwayne hit his head. The pup fell off the bird’s back and lay on the floor. The Honchkrow picked him up by the scruff of his neck. “I’ll teach you to be a hero!” With that the Honchkrow took out the knife and slashed an “X” between the pup’s eyes. Dwayne howled loudly as blood dripped down his face. His nerves screamed in pain from the slash. His mother ran to his side and told the avian the combination. However before the Avian could steal the loot, David had finally arrived home from his expedition at Mt. Moon. The Houndoom was enraged to see his home ransacked. He went into boiling point to see what had happened with his son. David started to pummel the bird where he stood. The Honchkrow didn’t even have time to react with his knife. After the beating the Honchkrow and Murkrow escaped the home with a few valuables. His parents quickly took Dwayne to the hospital. The young pup was unable to participate in his first year at PCA, however this incident fueled his ambition even more to join. An ambition to protect those he holds dear to him.

The next year has rolled finally rolled along and Dwayne was looking much better than he did his previous Birthday, with the exception of the scar. He had practice with his father and mother as he learned their skills: his mothers fighting style and his father’s fire abilities. During his birthday his mother gave him a tradition kung fu battle outfit to represent his Chinese heritage. The pup had finally packed his things and he was ready to start his newest experiences the PCA.
