So, Redburr's having this contest ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1599184/ ), and I figured I needed a warm-up drawing to break in my new sketchbook anyways, so BAM! - transmogrification.

For the astute observers wondering whatever happened to JenKiwi's omnipresent skull-and-crossbones hat - well, see, the transmogrification gun...transmogrified it...into black scraps and a bone necklace. (The necklace's red feathers belong to a certain iiwi that owes us favors. Kinda like I.O.U.s of the feral world. :3)

Was debating adding a background but then I remembered that this was supposed to be a warm-up lark, and that I have commissioners waiting on stuff who (most importantly) know where I live. But, hey, I still got to play with posing and foreshortening and marker-shading and, yes, crazily-plausible-based-on-pose-and-lighting shadows. :D

Prismacolor inks & markers, with a little whitepen thrown in for good measure. (I should probably tweak the shading where her left wing folds, since the scanner washed the shadows out, but PhotoShop has crashed on me four times already today so screw that.)
