I am in the midst of writing Marle Talbender's introduction into the Taylor series starting with book 3 and she is already quite the interesting giraffe. She is a bit of a loner, but craves attention and company. So much so that her unique ability helps her with just that problem. She has been known to craft and sew small, plushy animal toys. She isn't exactly good at it and ends up with more horrid abominations than not, but she does try. Instead, she goes out to local vendors when and if she can to buy professionally made ones to take home to add to her collection. When she is feeling exceptionally lonely, she will breath life into one for a companion. She can be a bit eccentric, having been alone for so long, but she is proving a wonderful contrast to my existing cast of characters who stumble across her!

I see, fair enough!
"Warbreaker" is a fantasy book where the main hard magic system it uses works based on "breaths" they can give life to objects to make them adapt specific proprieties by giving them an order to follow and depending on how many breaths they use they can "awaken" objects, basically making them sentient.
Really recommend the book, standalone but part of a huuuuuge universe.
Thanks for the reply, I have been following your gallery for a few years now, on FA just a bit ago tho, although just recently did learn you are a book author, as an aspiring writter myself I do have to say it fills me with optimism seeing you succeed the way you are, its quite inspiring tbh.
Will have to dive into your lore beyond just sticking to drawings, keep it up! Eager to discover more of your lore.

Well, for its part, I think the gallery did its purpose well to get you and many others readers interested in my books and the lore. I wouldn't say it's my primary advertising campaign, but it sure did bring in a lot of interest! And thank you! I'm on book 6 now of my series and I'm wrapping up the final chapters! It should be released next year and the series will be done! Huge milestone for me.
As for Warbreaker, sounds interesting. It's similar in function to what Marle does, but the core foundation of it is built on a magic system that's a bit more universal to other characters who have abilities of their own. I'll check it out after I finish book 6!

Ah thats interesting, if the gallery is not the main advertising campaign, mind if I ask how do you do marketing?
Here I have 1 book fully edited done, and ready to go, could self publish and sell through Amazon and such, although what has been keeping me from doing so is that I truly have no idea how marketing works, would really appreciate if you could please share some insight on it if possible.
Other than that, concluding a series must definitely be such a joy, congrats on that milestone! Truly, its always neat to see a writter succeed in the way you have.
100% Recommend Warbreaker as well when you can, if you end up liking it, diving into the whole Cosmere truly is an interesting experience tbh!
