I've had this particular image in my head since February 2010: Admiral Xevon, now leader of a great fleet of ships, presents his new paddle-steamer. King Kyle and Reptile Cynrik are gazing at this new ship in awe.
This invention ushers a grand new era in the history of AKTES: the humans invented the steam-engine!
Will it be used for the good of mankind...? We shall see. ^^
I'm well aware of some flaws in perspective here, so please don't mention it. Yeah, the background is a little bit too small, I guess... perspective has never been my strenght.
This picture is dedicated to ALL the people, who watch me here... and who prefer my traditional drawings above all my other styles. *hugs*
Finally: a new picture in my "good old traditional comic style"!!
Drawing Media:
Pencils, Inks, Coloured Pencils, Markers, Acrylics and NO digital media!

Hehehe... yeah, Starfleet will be amazed to see that these people already invented the steam-engine... way too early!!! This is all BECAUSE of my comic crossover! ^^ The Cardassian computer told them to invent the steam-engine and... only god knows what will happen next! :P
Thanks for the comment!

I honestly would not have mentioned the "perspective" if you didn't mention it. But now I see it, the boat does look huge compared to the building it came out of. But then again, all I can draw are stick figures so I have no right to critique you at all
Favorited and great drawing as always.

Well, I rather admit my mistakes in the beginning. And I take the risk that people LOOK at it then and talk about it. BUT it would be more horrible, if one finds out the mistake and then "Awwwwwww, looook!!!" ... pointing it out all the time. ^^
And you have the right to say what you want!!

Looks good. Never been that great at commenting on a picture. But I always enjoy how you place the emotions and visual into a scene. Mostly like...as if you're reading a comic of looking at a book cover or poster or whatever.
Oh, here's a link to my recent FA avatar pic too. There is a story behind the runes too =P

Thanks for the comment! :) I'm glad you like the picture.
Your character poser drawing (refers to the link) is quite well done, as well. I do like how you've coloured the very clean, solid line art. Your colouring strokes remind of traditional media, very nice. And the "hairy" brush strokes in the background are a good addition to the picture. ^^

Hey that's a really good drawing. I do enjoy traditional drawing a lot, especially when it looks just as good as digital. Had you not said there was no digital media used to make this I'da thought you had. Amazing drawing and cool one too. I love the way you just fit right into the scene.
The only thing you're missing are kegs full of that awesome casked Mid-Shipmen IPA (India Pale ale) Like an Elissa beer or something like that.
Ever since I started to watch you it wasn't just because of your art which has done more then touch me over the last three years.
I know I'm not your closest watcher but your welcome Rep!
*Raises his beer*

Hehehe... the barrels are containing the whine and the beer!! ^^ And most of the stuff is already on board. ^^
I'm really happy that my art, stories and my images touch you and... you can be sure that I won't stop! *cuddles hugs* I continue to tell stories of fantasy... and draw them.
And you ARE one of the closest watchers and I'm always happy to read one of your kind comments!
Thank you

I do my best even though in my own life I'm really down at the moment.
It says a lot about a person when they can keep using their heart to spread goodwill to others even though they themselves are hurting greatly which I am.
Things wouldn't be as bad if I didn't have to deal with alcoholism of my parent and rejection for being bisexual and different.
The only thing I can attribute to why I still have a big heart is because my spirit is too strong to be brought down to a level where they want it to be.
Anyway Rep,
I'm just being humble is all
I know you are a very special person in my life because if you weren't I still wouldn't have your picture by my bed so I can look at it if I need a smile to remind me there is real good outhere as long as I keep my heart true.
It kinda stinks Germany isn't a small town in Texas or your town isn't a small town in Texas I can get to.
I guess that's the price you pay with real long distance.
But anyway Rep,
I should be thanking you instead of you thanking me
