For this picture, I was trying out a new shading technique for the characters, that's why it looks a bit weird or different (I didn't like it in the end :v).

Caasi woke up to find himself in the shadow in the middle of the town. Although he was invited by Madeline to a welcoming home to rest and sleep, it certainly beats sleeping in the shadows, but he doesn’t seem to trust anyone in the guild just yet. He sighed sadly as there was still no sign of his sister yet. The Marshadow came out of the shadow fully, giving a big stretch and yawn before looking around to see where he was, a dark alleyway that led to a bright town square where other Pokémon were passing by. Caasi’s stomach rumbles, he hasn’t eaten anything since he ended up here yesterday. Definitely not going to find marshmallows here, perhaps some berries will do! He slowly stepped out into the light from the dark alleyway, it was a bit bright, but it’s nice to be out of the shadow once in a while.
Caasi noticed there was a soapbox with a microphone on it, it had some berries around it and a Mareanie was sitting behind the box nervously reciting her lines from reading a notecard. The Marshadow wandered over, checking to see if the Mareanie hasn’t seen him yet. Caasi recognised that Pokémon. It’s Ursula, she wanted me to join the Aristocrats the day before, he thought to himself. The Marshadow felt bad but he was hungry, he quickly takes the berries off the soapbox and munches on them quickly. “Okay! I got it memorised, hopefully.” Ursula smiled to herself, this made Caasi panic and swiftly dips into the shadow, leaving the leftover berries on the floor. The Mareanie turned around and then noticed the berries on the floor with some bite marks on it. “W-who’s been… N-no time to worry about that. I gotta make my annoncement. O-okay… here it goes.” Ursula jumped on top of the soapbox, grabbed her microphone and sighed nervously.
“Gather round everyone!” the small Mareanie spoke softly into the microphone. “P-please! —” her voice was overwhelmed by the feedback of the microphone, making a loud screeching noise to other Pokémon listening. All the other Pokémon started to gather around, with annoyed looks on their faces. “S-sorry! I’m new to this microphone.” the Mareanie chuckled. “N-nice to meet you all, heh… I am Ursula from the Aristocrats guild.” Ursula nervously stumbled on her words, “L-leader! …of the Aristocrats… guild, h-heh.”. She blunders and quickly got her notecards to read through the rest of what she needed to say out loud. “S-so uh, I thank you all for joining your respective guilds. W-we appreciate your patience, and you do not need to wait any longer!” She stopped to read her notecards, all the other Pokémon that were gathering around were either feeling sympathetic or smirking, or just being confused. Ursula noticed and chuckled nervously and discard the notecards. “Euh— explorers! Y-you must go to the gym just down the road from here, Madeline will be t-there, waiting for you---.
Whilst the Mareanie was saying out her lines, a Tapu Lele was passing by at the far back of the audience, she overheard the announcement of what the Mareanie was saying. It looks like they’re finally setting up their guild business and the poor nervous starfish drawn the short straw, the Tapu Lele thought to herself, it seems like tiring work being a guild member, but it was definitely not for her. Several Pokémon in the audience start heading off to their respective places that the Mareanie told them to go to. The Tapu Lele thought she noticed a set of eyes in the shadow of one of the Pokémon in the audience, but it could’ve just been her eyes playing tricks on her. She shrugged and floats on by.
Unbeknownst to her, the shadow moved out of the audience’s shadow and the marshadow head popped out and a set of green glowin eyes was staring straight at the Tapu Lele. The gym, okay, she is heading the right way. Caasi thought to himself before he dipped back in and the shadow quickly moved into the Tapu Lele’s shadow since she was heading towards the gym that Ursula mentioned earlier. The Tapu Lele felt a little uneasy and shivered a little bit, she can definitely feel some presence going on, like she is being watched from somewhere. “Who’s there?!” The Tapu Lele shouted angrily as she turned around. “You know I can sense you!”
