**Giggles!**
First off I want to take a few heartbeats here and thank people for all their comments and tolerance to the pictures I posted and the journals and updates I wrote while doing laundry on Friday, which was like that movie from my childhood without me changing places with my mother. Freaky Friday. Oh yes. Perhaps sometime when I have a bit more focus, I'll tell you more of the details.
Yesterday was perhaps the best Sunday I've had in ages. I got home around 12 am from the Saturday Night Tabletop Game, biking down the sidewalks of Abercorn and cutting through parking lots, and settled in to get some sleep. I took my sleep aids and slept until 9:45 am, which was about 8 or 9 hours, which is probably the best night I'd had in a few days. I got cleaned up and started to look at my place. Guys, my Big Sister was groovy in coming up here in Thanksgiving of last year with her hubby, the Southern Rocker himself. She really was concerned at seeing the place being a wreck, but she just wanted to get me out of the place. I learned later that she had talked to the people in the office and told them what was going on with me. I didn't know this until she told me one night a few weeks back. Wow. So, in a way, this place I have is sort of a gift from my Big Sister.
So, when I looked about the place that my Big Sister helped me keep, I thought that I had complained about people cleaning up after themselves and the property owners not taking care of this place and it finally hit me like a cold splash of water. I'm just like them. I could sit here and make excuses or I can stand up and get things done. So, with no breakfast or meds, I went out to the laundry room ... see the pictures posted between all of the porn and character sheets ... for more details. The images of the laundry room are the end result of me doing about half an hour's worth of work. I wrote a letter that I sent to the office:

<Address Withheld To Prevent More Stalkers>
To Who This Concerns:
Good morning. The name is <Name Withheld> and repairing my life is the game. This past Friday, I went into the smaller laundry room and was disgusted by what I saw within the room. The place was a mess. While I did notify the main office earlier about it, it was not taken care of to my satisfaction. So, getting things cleaned up was the order. I took what I deemed was trash and tossed it to the base of the temporary dumpster. I hated leaving it like that and, if y’all fine me, I’m good with that. It needed to be done. It took twenty-five minutes to accomplish and it’s worth the effort.
“Leaders lead,” is what my father used to say back when he was still alive. He would have long since done the same if he lived here. Before he passed, he got to come up here a few times because he didn’t have his wife, my mother, to bring. I didn’t know it at the time, because his generation didn’t speak of such things. But his trips up here allowed us to get closer. My father used to own 13+ rental properties down in Glynn County and during the times he had those places, he had his good tenants and some not-so good. I used to work with him on some of these places during the summer months mostly to give me something to do. Cleaning, mowing and raking the yard were things I knew how to do, but he taught me to paint as well. I did my hand at laying carpet, but Pop later decided that he would hire people to do it. All the stuff I liked doing and didn’t like doing were things that needed to be done. Thanks to both my Mom and Pop, who adopted me, I never went without and learned that if you want something, you must earn it.
Well, I want to be proud of myself again. So that means that I have to do what I must. People will do what they must too. Reason doesn’t matter, but with the freedom to do that, one must take the responsibility. So that is why I write this while waiting to have lunch.
Thank you for your attention. If you need to contact me, you are welcome to call my cell phone. I go to work at <Name Withheld> around 6:00 am and the phone will be active.
<Name Withheld>
Then I went back into my place and started doing some cleaning.
Thanks for all of your love and support.
