Been really busy with this stuff, right back up to full steam after getting all the scattered documents assembled into a single 120-page file. Most of the writing for the sourcebook is done and I'm working on illustrations/page design. I've even got a physical prototype for reference, though PDF will ultimately be the way to go. I'll try to post a bit more regularly rather than in these huge chunks, especially as I get closer to completing this thing.

Well, I was just a kid when I started it, I didn't have a lot of interesting world experience or an understanding of story structure, so I kinda just blundered along while learning. I guess this is sort of the culmination of that, a big sandbox for writing and drawing.
OMG yes.
Your Rym website, yes, that like like 20+ ish years ago, was a big influence on me, even if I never played it as a campaign, there were lots of characters and ideas that just resonated. To this day I remember and recognize them.
I'd love to have an easy-to-read (compared to a twisty forest of HTML links) and upgraded artwork version. Tell me when and where and I'm there!

Thanks bud! I'm always really excited to hear stuff like that, which has been a big influence on me too, I don't think I would have every gotten to this point without people to bounce ideas off of. I needed time to mature and develop the concept into something I could properly codify, and it's going to be more of an art and story book than strictly a gaming resource. I'll keep ya posted!

Are you going to have your old art from https://www.fur.com/~ollie/rym3.html ? Ugh, this makes me so happy! <3
The mere mention of this as a Pathfinder supplement really REALLY has my interest! Even, honestly, purely as an art book and story/setting reference, it looks amazing. Your otters on the whole pretty much DEFINED otters in the fandom for a vast number of folk. I'm VERY looking forward to this, and, if priced affordably, I'll DEFINITELY be picking this up.
It was mentioned above in a question if this will also be available as print-on-demand / in resolution sufficient to do a hardbound version. I'm equally curious, as that would be amazing!

Hi Ollie! I'm so excited to see your progress! I stumbled across the Rym website over 20 years ago, and your drawings, characters, and world-building have stayed with me ever since. It's been a massive influence on me and has inspired much of my tabletop game design, which eventually led me into the tabletop game industry as a career. If you ever want to chat about the possibility of crowdfunding or creating a physical copy of the Rym sourcebook, I'd be delighted to share my experience and advice! It's the least I could do for you, considering what an impact your work has had on my life. Feel free to email me (Ty) at pipdreamgames@gmail.com. Keep the content coming! ;)
Oh my god! I have been following your art for so long, and then you went dark. I used to have your entire Rym website downloaded, and even used parts of it in a Star wars campaign. On a lark, i searched for your name again and found that you're finally going to do a Rym book! Count me as someone who's going to buy it as soon as it's out!
