Saira is a young adult of her species located in the Vela constilation better known as "Vela Nebula Orca"
Originating from a [mostly] ocean planet, Vela Nebula Orca spend their early life and adulthood in a marine lifestyle before developing their abilities.
Vela Nebula Orca develop a remarkable void atmosphere resistance that eventually turns into being 100% spaceproof by the time they gain the ability to 'glitch' (short distance spacial relocation), eventually refining and mastering this minor ability of using cosmic energy to essentially 'Planeswalk' aka jumping dimension at will.
Some spacers tales tell of orca's and whales in space and often, there is something to it..
Vela Nebula Orca grow their entire life (and they get very very old), their physiology changes from a more typical 'earth' orca style to a larger, more sleek design as they get older. Indecated by a shift in coloration, stronger bioluminiscent glow and longer/curved fluke and dorsal fin. Latter developing into more of a 'sail'.
Their species is self aware and can be classified as fully sentient, some say that they can learn to mimic human speech, yet their prefered method is akin to earth orca's communication of clicks, whistles and pulsed, with a twist called the 'ping' which could only be defined as subspace echo location.
Vela Nebula Orcas are carnivorous and skilled hunter like their earth counterparts, thought while older specimen don't require conventional food. They still choose to 'hunt for sport'.
The natural bioluminescence is caused by a Ion rich chemical reaction in their species bloodstream, traces of it where found in space and so far classified as the "travelers particle" due to their spacial instability.
She will eventually play an important role in Null's character lore, but that is matter for the future
